Calbux 90M® - Quicklime
is a fine powdered pure Quicklime from Buxton Lime.
Quicklime is made by the calcination of specially selected pure Carboniferous Derbyshire Limestone.
Classified as a CL 90-Q – EN459-1 2010. Quicklime is used as the primary lime binder to be mixed with specially selected sand and aggregate to make hot mixed Lime Mortar, Lime Plaster and render for new-build and historic conservation works. It can also be used to make Lime Putty and Limewash.
Suitable for conservation applications for laying and pointing: brick, stone, and other porous masonry or internal plastering and rendering onto: Laths and masonry.
